Hello,

I would like to know what data mapping software you guys use/like. I don't care for Power Maps. I have problems with it mapping zip codes to Europe, plus several other problems. The maps aren't as clean as I would like either.

I've used Map Point before, but didn't like it.

I tried Google Fusion Tables, but it only allows me to import 10,000 lines. I'm looking at data at a zip code level which is about 40,000 lines.

As always, price does matter. Can't pay some of the crazy $5k 1 user license fees.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Not really an Excel question this!

But... have you looked at QGIS - open source and is pretty powerful with a very active user community.
