First of all, allow me to apologize in advance if I am not supposed to post here.

I need help with networkdays.intl function. The formula I am using is:

=NETWORKDAYS.INTL(DATE($AN$5,1,1),EDATE(DATE($AN$5,1,1)-1,12),16,Settings!F4:F16)

I need to work with only 1 day per week off which is Friday. The holidays, as you can see, are listed in another tab named settings and total 13 days. However, the issue is that the year 2014 had 52 Fridays and added to the 13 other holidays, total working days should be 300. But my worksheet insists on showing 313 workdays.

And yes, the dates are formatted as dates, not as text.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Please let me know if you want to look at the worksheet itself.

Regards

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Welcome to the board.

The formattig of the holiday cells isn't really as imporant as the contents of the cells.
Just because a cell is formatted as a date, doesn't necessarily mean that cell actually contains a date.

What does this return?
=ISNUMBER(Settings!F4)
and filled down to F16

What are the actual dates you have in Settings!F4:F16 ?

Note, any Holiday that happens to be a Friday will not be subtracted from the total because it has already been subtracted because it's a Friday.

These are some of the dates entered:

01-01-15
03-01-15
16-05-15
18-07-15
19-07-15
20-07-15
24-09-15

Among all the holidays in my sheet, there is only 1 Friday. In total, the holidays amount to 13 days.

Please start your own thread rather than hijacking someone else's. Also please be patient - bumping in 24 minutes is unacceptable.
