What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
without a sample difficult for anyone to answer. I've done something similar where I have a drop down box (data validation of dates in a list) and then a formula that then takes 1 day or 1 month off (=DATE(YEAR(O3),MONTH(O3)-1,DAY(O3))), I then use lookups etc to bring me back the data against those dates. Once graph is sourced to the data when you change a date for the dropdown the graph also changes. Hope that kinda makes sense.

Well, Excel can't do something just because you're thinking it might be nice. You have to do a little setup.
