approx. match

Hi,

I have two columns A and C with different companies names and I need to create a formula for approx. match. So far I used the following formulas: =VLOOKUP(CONCATENATE("*",C2,"*"),$A$2:$A$341,1,FALSE) and =MATCH(C2&"*",$A:$A,0) but found only 50% of the approx. matches. Do you know any other formula which I can use so that I can increase the percentage of the approx. matches?
