Hi There

I am trying to work out how I can count manually entered values in a range of cells and ignore the values generated by formula.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I have solved this using the sum and offset formulas in a separate cell

Hi,

Provided there's no text in the range, I'd do it like this

=SUMPRODUCT((ISNUMBER(A1:A20))*(NOT(ISFORMULA(A1:A20)))*(A1:A20))
