Error Bars Not Displaying Properly

Hi!

This is a weird one for me as error bars are normally quite straightforward. In essence:

I have 2 data series. A with 3 points, B with 4 points. I plot them on a line graph and I add custom error bars. The values for the error bars are in one single column. The values for the two series' are in two different columns. The error bars for series A display perfectly. The error bars for series B only display the first two. I have tried with numerous different columns (I need to make about 10 of these graphs) and the problem is the same in every single one. The first two points in Series B display fine, but the second two display nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

And also, If I combine the data in to one series as opposed to two the error bars work fine.

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Can I ask if you were able to resolve this?

I'm having a similar problem at the moment. I have 5 series per chart and unless I merge all of them (not really an option) or split them into individual charts, which isn't ideal as I have 8 of these charts as is, the error bars just will not display correctly.
