I have a workbook with 3 worksheets. I am trying to delete 2 of the three but "Delete Sheet" is grayed out in both the "Edit" menu and RtMouseClick menu. The sheets are not protected and the workbook is shared. Do I have to un-share the workbook in order to delete sheete? If so.. how do I do this?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
hello kilroy wuz heer, welcome to MrExcel.com board!!!

it could be greyed out in lieu of workbook protection. sheet protection would not do that, you would still be able to delete individual sheets. but i'd check that first.

Just a thought. Try to "save as" the workbook and give a different name

Been there, done that. No change- "Delete Sheet" still grayed (greyed?) out.

Just a guess..

Maybe firefytr means that your wb is locked by a workbook protection and not a

sheet protection..just a wild guess

Tools -> Protection -> Unprotect Workbook.

if all entries under protection say 'Protect ...' then you're sheet/book is not protected, and that is probably not the problem.

Protect Sheet and Workbook are grayed out. Protect Workbook is available. If it helps.. I was mucking around with embedding this spreadsheet in a Visio page but is wasn't working so I deleted the link (I think) If I go to Share Workbook the only name that appears is me.
