Pivot Tables for 2010

I run a daily report of all system data in WIP.
I then insert the Pivot Table to show the totals for each P/N in WIP.

When I run the report the next day, do I have to rerun the Pivot table?
Meaning, delete the Tab in the Wrkbook, reset another.
New lines can be added with new P/N's etc.
Or is there a way to REFRESH the data without rerunning the PT?

There is refresh options in several places. I right click on the pivot table and the pop-up menu includes refresh,

if you have setup the datarange to cover the max data you could have
if the sheet name is the same
what happens when you goto the pivot table and refresh ! ?

is the data brought in and appended to the existing sheet
or is it a new sheet that is created ?

Was linked to the wrong spreadsheet.
I'm a newbie with Pivot Tables.
