Excel 2010-

I want to draw a line chart with the x-axis values in one range and the y-axis values in another range. Both ranges contain values from 0.00 to 1.00.

The 2 columns might look like this:
0.56 0.01
0.78 0.19
0.91 0.58

So the first point would be 0.56 on the Y axis and .01 on the X axis, the second would be 0.78 on Y and 0.19 on X etc.

Also both the X and Y axis labels should span from 0 to 1 at .10 intervals.

For some reason I've been working with trying to do this for quite a while with no success. I would really appreciate it if someone could get me going in the right direction. It could be in the form of a macro or just using the steps in creating the chart in the worksheet.

Thanks,
Lou

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Lou, You can do this as a Line Chart but then there are difficulties with getting the 0.10 intervals you want. I'm using Excel 2007 but it should be similar in Excel 2010.
Assuming your data above is in A1:B3
Select A1:B3
Click Insert on the Ribbon and Select Scatter
Select Scatter with Straight Lines
You should now have a chart with a line connecting the data points showing X from 0 to 1 and Y from 0 to 0.7
You can now format the Y Axis to show from 0 to 1 and adjust the intervals on both axes as you require.
