Sum if different cells >0

I haven't needed to do formulas in several years and now am stumped on a simple issue! I need to say if a1, b1, c1, d1, e1 are >0 then sum a1:e1. If no values entered I don't want it to return a "0" but leave it blank in cell f1. Please help me!!

Welcome to the board.

There could be many ways to approach this, but some clarity would help.

Are you wanting to verify that ALL 5 cells have a value > 0 then sum them?
Or if at least 1 cell has a value > 0
Is it really > 0, or actually just NOT blank or 0 ? (what about negatives?)

You could try to use an if statement where if sum of those cells equals zero then blank else sum of those cells. Formula would be =if(sum(a1:e1)=0,"",sum(a1:e1))
