Change All Charts Into Pictures

I would like to have a macro that takes all the 26 charts in my worksheet and changes them into pictures.

I'm not sure if that means that each chart needs to be copied and placed in the same place as the base chart, and then the base chart deleted, or whether there is a way to just convert each chart in a one-time shot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Something like this might be a good start:

Sub ChangeChartsToPictures()
  Dim chob As ChartObject
  Dim pic As Shape
  
  For Each chob In ActiveSheet.ChartObjects
    With chob
      .CopyPicture
      ActiveSheet.Paste
      Set pic = ActiveSheet.Shapes(ActiveSheet.Shapes.Count)
      pic.Left = .Left
      pic.Top = .Top
      .Delete
    End With
  Next
End Sub
