Hello,

I need to plot on the same graph 2 time series (format is: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss) that have different dates.
These time series are coming from a measurement equipment in 2 separate locations and the time records are in the same 24 hours period (00:00 to 23:59), but different time stamps.
One example is below

Time Location AMeasurement Location A Time Location BMeasurement Location B
2016-09-06 13:17:27-43.2 2016-09-06 13:20:44-43.7
2016-09-06 13:15:39-43.2 2016-09-06 12:01:03-43.7
2016-09-06 13:15:31-45 2016-09-06 12:01:03-43.7
2016-09-06 13:14:03-43.2 2016-09-06 08:35:05-43.7

<colgroup><col><col><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

How can I plot them into the same chart (XY type, X being Time and Y being the Measurement) using same time interval (00:00 to 23:59) using Excel 2016?

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Try a Pivot Table using Multiple consolidation ranges
To open the wizard in XL2010 click Alt+D, P follow the wizard. When the PT is created, select a cell in it and ht F11. This will give you a combined chart with both ranges
