Dears members,

I would like, when selecting a part ofthe text of a web page read in Google Chrome:

  • sending to an existing Excel file (or CSV) the URL of the current browser window with tags and title of the page,
  • inputing a text string (concatenation of « home » keywords and record it in the previous mentioned Excel/CSV file,
  • Insert the selected text into an existing Word file with the text string (keywords) and the URL before the text.

Which would be the best tool (and easiest to build) to perform those tasks as I guess that it is not possible to launch an Excel VBAmacro from the web page ? A script in which langages, use of automation tools (macros driving web).

Best would be a Chrome extension, as Iam not allowed to install new software in my workplace.
I know some Excel VBA but no other langages.

Many thanks for your advice
:)
