Microsoft Word: Distance between footnote and separator

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with one of my documents. There is an additional line between footnotes and the separator which I can't get rid of.
I tried to remove any space before the paragraph, but it is zero already.

Your footnote separator, footnote continuation separator and footnote continuation notice all have superfluous paragraph breaks. Delete them and the spaces will reduce accordingly.
