For all those that could not get Smart Indenter to work (mainly a 64bit issue from what i read) MZ-Tools now has it as part of their latest release which is 8.0.0.70 (Changelog of MZ-Tools 8.0)

Thanks MZ-Tools team, i am part of the team testing Office 2015 64bit for my company and this tool is making life easier.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
It is a very welcome addition! Hopefully in a future release they will add in some of the options that SmartIndenter has, such as aligning Dim statements.

For those that are interested in 'getting Smart Indenter to work' on newer systems, the problem is that Microsoft no longer deploys the Add-In Designer component with Office. This means that add-ins (such as Smart Indenter) will not install properly on a newer OS with a newer Office setup. This component is required for add-ins created with VB6.

The Designer component was typically installed as C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\DESIGNER\MSADDNDR.DLL. If you have another (older) setup where SI was installed, you can just grab that instance of the Designer, copy it to the path shown above on your new machine, then register it (using a Command Prompt in admin mode from the DESIGNER folder) using the command 'regsvr32 MSADDNDR.DLL'. Once it is properly registered, the standard installer for Smart Indenter should work.
