Hello,

I have around 1,000 PDFs in a folder and on the first page of each file the text string "Year/Period of Report" appears and is followed by "YYYY/MM". Is it possible to write a code in VBA that will open each PDF in the folder, find and copy a text string like the one noted above?

Thanks!!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
