Flash Disk question

Hi everyone:

This question is about hardware - I'm trying to format a flash drive in port H:

I get this message from command prompt:

C:\>format H:
Insert new disk for drive H:
and press ENTER when ready...
Cannot open volume for direct access.

The message gives nothing more. How can I format this disk ??

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
