PREVENT ACCESS FROM SORTING FIELDS DURING EXPORT

Dear All,
I'm trying to export a huge database from MS Access XP to a tab delimited text file. I've sorted a particular field in the Access database in an ascending order. I would like the tab delimited text file to have the same order. However, during the export process, Access re-sorts all the fields according to a different order.

How do I prevent Access from re-sorting the fields during the export process?

Alternatively, I can copy & paste small amounts of data from the Access database to the text file if I have no choice. However, this would take the whole day. I'd prefer a more 'elegant' method :)

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot :)

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Base your export off of a sorted query instead. The data in the table is inheritenly "unsorted".
