Now in another column i need to extract only the month&year . How can i have records only showing month&year . I need a append query . Please help

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Can you just use a formula in the column?

Month: Month(Date)
Year: Year(Date)

Its been a while since I have used access, but I believe that is possible.

You can use the Format function in a calculated field, i.e.

Code:
MyMonthDate: FORMAT([DateField],"mmyyyy")
