Hello,

In my database I have Employees, Jobs, and Time, tables.

I want to create a report that will group employees by last name and then give me a list of all the jobs they did and how much time they spent on each job. When I try to sum it gives me a sum for the employee as a whole not for the job. Some employees work on several jobs.

ex.
Employee A
Job 1; Total Time for Job 1
Job 2; Total Time for Job 2
Job 3; Total Time for Job 3

Employee B
Job 1; Total Time for Job 1
Job 2; Total Time for Job 2
Job 3; Total Time for Job 3

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
You want to Group your report on your Employee field, put the job details in the Detail section, and then your Subtotals for each employee would go in the Employee Group Footer section.
