Update SharePoint list using Access Query

I have a query that needs to be exported to a SharePoint list but I need to be able to update the SharePoint list using the query as well.

I can export the query results to a SharePoint list but then can't figure out how to update the list from the query without using a Make Table, which deletes the link to the SharePoint list.

If I export the query then try to link the list back to the table made using Make Table, it adds a "1" to the end of the table it links to since the table I need already exists.

If re-run the query after updates are made and export it to SharePoint, it adds a "1" to the list name since it already exists instead of updating the current list.

If I use Make Table in Access to update the linked table, then it breaks the link to SharePoint.

So, how do I do what I need to do?

Thanks in advance.
