Frequent forum lurker here. I have a book of MrExcel's on Pivot Tables, but it is almost a decade old (2007 edition). I already know pivots pretty well, but there's always room for more! How effective is the '07 edition? Are there major, substantive differences that I am missing, or are there defunct processes that would be a waste to learn?

Thanks!

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().

Yah, I have the 2003 version from Walkenbach on Pivot tables but the new thing is Power Pivot which runs on the DAX language, I understand it will be a standard tab in the new release of MS Excel and not an add in as it is now. This is hot, there was a job posted recently looking for Power Pivot experience.
