Hello

I have a table and want to create a KPI or something to show the growth compared to the figure above. My table has week number (from start of the data) and then has a range of measures such as current sales, sales for last 4 weeks, sales for last 12 weeks, sales for last 52 weeks. I want to put a KPI which I can attach to each fo the measures to show what the percentage growth from the figure above is, and a KPI icon to illustrate this.

Thanks

Would be helpful if your question(s) could be a bit more concrete.

Seems like you probably have 2'ish question (I'm guessing a bit):
1) How do I create a KPI? (right click the measure in the power pivot window and click 'Create KPI') and
2) How do I create a % growth measure

Which is just something like ([ActualValue] - [KPI Baseline Value]) / [KPI Baseline Value]

Hello

Sorry if it was a bit vague.

I know how to make a kpi and have done growth say between quarters and yoy..however I want to know if it is possible to show growth on simply the figure above in the pivot table, preferably in a kpi as it is visually effective.

You helped me create the table I wanted, current week sales, last 4 weeks from that current week, last 12, last 52 I want to know what percentage of growth there has been from that 4 weeks compared to the previous weeks 4 weeks sales, ect..

I hope that is a bit clearer.

Thanks again

There is just no support for cell referencing in power pivot... so, no notion of "the cell above". It will have to be hard coded in the whatever dax formula you write.
