Hi,

I am trying to create a new slicer in a powerpivot sheet. But I am unable to link it to an existing slicer within the same powerpivot sheet. I looked into the relationships. But still unable to figure out. Kindly provide your valuable insight.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Sorry, not totally getting your question. Slicers are always off table columns. By default, you will get some nice "cross slicer filtering" affects (for eg, if you slice to California, it won't show you Seattle or Dallas in your City slicer).
