Adding Two Columns Within A Pivot

Hi

I am new to PowerPivot. Was wondering if someone could lend me their expertise. Id like to create a measure within the pivot table itself to add the values in (DISCOUNT ALLOWED and GROSS SALES) for each row label and within its own column. I guess this is super simple but i cant figure out the syntax.

It sounds to simple of an answer but just add your two measures together within a New Measure...

[New Measure]:=[DISCOUNT ALLOWED]+[GROSS SALES]

Maybe I'm not following you though.
