How can I format a General Number that was imported from a text file. The numbers are showing up with no decimal points. For example, a number that was imporated is shown as 40000 but should be displayed as 400.00
Is there a quick format to insert the decimal place into the correct area of the number. Thank You to anyone who can help with this problem I am having. [ This Message was edited by: anctech on 2002-02-18 12:52 ] |

Put 100 in an empty cell, copy it, select the cells you want to change, go to Edit, Paste Special, select Values and Divide and click Ok. Now you can format as Number with 2 decimals.
