I have a database with hyperlinks to Audio files (MP3's),I have tried following the Excel Help guidence, but still get the "Some files contain viruses message", I am running Norton Antivirus Software as well. I want to be able to click on my buttons and have the file play instantly without the warnings, can this be done?

IT gets worse, I pasted Paul's code in to my Visual Basic and I Get this message: You vave modified a signed project you do not have the right key to sign this project, the signature will be discarded, I saved, closed, re-opened and still get the same security message

If you are talking about the macro security turned on in Excel 2000 that prompts you when you want to run a macro, the way I turned it off was by clicking on Tools->Macro->Security, and selecting the Low Security option. Make sure you read the warning on this!!!

Signatures can be used for security and to validate that a project has come from a certain location. You can then set individual computers to accept and run macros from these sources without first giving warnings.
