this is what i have
SHEET 'Reference' Clients____Online$____Traditional$ 10_________$500__________$280 20_________$400__________$200 50_________$250__________$150 SHEET B Mode________No.of Clients___Charge per Client Traditional______22 Traditional______12 Online__________20 Online__________33 how do i get the Charge per client? this is what i have inputted as my formula =IF(A1=Traditional, (VLOOKUP(B2,Reference!A2:C4,3)), (VLOOKUP(B2,Reference!A2:B4,2))) [ This Message was edited by: choungeehowe on 2002-03-04 00:11 ] |

Nearly there, you just need to put inverted commas around Traditional and maybe change one of your lookups-
=IF(A2="Traditional", (VLOOKUP(B2,Reference!A2:C4,3)), (VLOOKUP(B2,Reference!A2:C4,2))) |
