I am trying to make make a macro that will take a last name as an input and do a calculation on the values of the characters and come up with a unique password. How can I do calculations with characters other than numbers?

I would start messing about with the "chr()" property. This allows conversion between letters and numbers.
Not quite sure what you're looking for here. _________________ [b] Mark O'Brien [ This Message was edited by: Mark O'Brien on 2002-03-04 12:14 ] |
