I have a list of few hundred clients addresses and their date-of-birth and I wish to format the birthday column to reflect the year of birth to 2002 so that I can do sorting by month (use for mail merging and sending out birthday cards)
EG: 3-Mar-1946 18-May-1957 28-Sept-1967 To be formated to: 3-Mar-2002 18-May-2002 28-Sept-2002 Which formula should I use and how should the formula be keyed in. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Ricky rlimlm@yahoo.com |

If your dates are in column A:
=DATE(2002,MONTH(A1),DAY(A1)) in another column and pasted down will do the trick. Of course format this column as date
