Hi! Is it possible to make a line in the pagefooter an at the same time have a sentence underneath it / and a line ind the pageheader and at the same time have a sentence above it? And can it appear in the exact same place on each side you print out? (as it is possible in Word)
Appreciate any help. |

Hi Grookie,
In Excel page headers and footers can only contain text--no graphics or other objects. As a result the only way you can create a line is with the underline character (____) or with other special characters (like for example ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª). If you don't like the looks of the underline character, try using the windows CharMap utility to get characters outside the range of the normal font character set. For example (¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T) is from the Arial font's Box Drawing Subset. You can even draw boxes around things using these characters, such as ¨X¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨[ ¨U This text box, made entirely ¨U ¨U from characters ¨U ¨^¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨T¨a I hope this helps. |
