After copying a macro and then pasting it into the visual basic editor, how do i then save it so that when i go to macros and attempt to run it it appears.? Sorry for being very dense! |

should i then be able to open this thro' tools>macro>macros, because that's what i want to do but still don't seem to be having any luck?!

Sorry Barrie, still no joy - after selecting the workbook (VBAProject newtest.xls), i then inserted the module and pasted my macro.
Then saved - file>save newtest.xls, it appeared to save, but i still can't find the macro when i want to select it as discussed above. |

I've cracked it, I couldn't find it because it was a macro that opened up a message prompt only when the file is opened - sorry mate but thanks for your time. I'm having a blonde day! |
