Hello,
I have problem selecting the blank cells in a column First, I fill down the whole column with a if formula. Then, I go to copy/paste special->values to clear the formula Finally, I go to GOTo->special->blank, but it still can't select the cells which don't have the values in it Did I miss any steps? Please help Thank you in advance |

When I tried to fill down the column by double clicking the black cross on the lower right corner of a cell and it didn't work.
So I just drag the cell down. Could that cause any problems? Thanks |

=code(A1,1) for blank in A1. if you get 32 then it is a space character. Eli |

I entered =code(a1) and it gives me #VALUE
So, what does it mean? |

Select an unused cell, type =, select 10-20 cells of your troublesome column of data, press F9, copy the results from the formula bar and paste into a reply posting.
