File and Path Listing in Excel

I am trying to get a file listing with paths in Excel. By "file listing" I mean a list of the files contained on a disk with their paths included (ie the files contained in the root directory and all of the subdirectories). This would be a relatively simple task, except that I'm trying to do this on Excel '98 for the Mac. Everything I try doesn't work! Any ideas or web sites I might visit to learn how to do this? I really would appreciate any help.

What do you mean by "file listing"?
