I saved my add-in as an Excell add-in .xla file and then i installed it into Excel 2000, i can see it under Tools/Add-Ins, it's called XLCode and it is checked,,,,
But i can't find it anywhere!!! it's not a 'function' or a button or anything, i can't find it,,, WAAAAAAAaaaa!!!! I've lost my Add-In .... sniff,,, there, i'm better now,,, could someone help me find it please IanMc |

Usually when you create an add-in, Office moves it to this location or one of the sub directories therein:
C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeLibrary Failing that, search you're directories for "*.xla" (hit "Windows Key" + "F") and this should turn it up. It's still on your computer or else you wouldn't be able to see it on the add-ins list. |

Sorry Mark, you misunderstand,
I know where the .xla file is, i just can't see it anywhere from within Excel. I can't see it as a menu item or button or a function or anything even though it is installed and checked.
