Do you mean the old DataMap program?
They whacked it from Excel 2002, instead hoping to promote their new $200 MapPoint program. I will admit that MapPoint is a whole lot better than DataMap, but you can't beat the fact that DataMap was free. My understanding is that you can view a Map created with Excel 2000, but you can not modify it in Excel 2002. One tip: Microsoft gave away 1000's of copies of MapPoint 2002 to I.T. managers who attended an office Launch seminar. Those CD's started showing up on E-Bay for about $50 or so. A lot better than paying full retail.... Bill
