Changing the font in cells

Is there a simple way to change the format of the font in a cell if it is a certain value eg to make it a different colour if it is greater than 10. This needs to be done automatically.

Sure. Use Conditional formatting, found on the format menu.

Use conditional formatting, where you choose "Cell Value Is" the "Greater Than" and type 10 in the white space, activate Format, select a color on the Fonts tab.
