I'm trying to have a cell (E16) change to green if cells E5-15 are >5 or red if E5-15 are < .5 That's the general situation. This is my first post so I apologize in advance. ~tb

Click on Format-Conditional Formatting, and change the dropdown to Formula Is. Enter: -
=SUM(E5:E15)>5 and choose your format. Add a condition, and this time use the formula: - =SUM(E5:E15)<0.5 and again choose your format. |
