I am using WIN 98 and Office 2000. I got a program that search for macros and eliminate them.Using this program I got a message that I have a macro and the macro was dismented. Now whenever launching Excel I get a VBA sheet with Question Marks which need to be closed inorder to go to the Excel Sheet. I have tried to remove Excel and install it again but the problem remain. From what I may recall the problem was with PDFwriter.VBA.

I got a program that search for macros and eliminate them. Sounds nasty and has effecyed files deep... I would not use such a program, cant see the need i would route them out by hand.. however not my place to critise, just mt ways of what i do. Now my call is wipe the drive and reload from scratct and not mess about, DO NO DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING< I DO NOT WANT COMPLAINTS>>>>> I say format and so on as its not repairable excel is confused and will only play up and effect things getting worse, re start save time and gives clean start.... REMEMBER SAVE WORK OFF THAT DRIVE. Fdisk i would do and load MBR also to Fdisk string.. format and boot into dos as win98. and load. I would not do this unless you are VERY ADVANCED USER..... BTW if you at work and network MIS should have rebuild image to do thisin few minutes and no work will be lost, BUT move files stored on C drive. I cant enough stress do not wipe the drive UNLESS YOU KNIOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR DOING!!!!!!
