Hello,
I have the following code: ='\ADMINSTRATORPR-LOG-S1.xls'!S1_Q1_01_volume*S1_Q1_01_mf_fee but I get #ref and cant' find name errors. what is the problem there? source and target sheets are all in same directories.help..head explode soon. thanks for help |

hello,
it appears that if the named external reference is defined as a formulae (eg sum in this case) the recipient sheet will only update properly if the source is open. only names defined as single cells will link while source is closed. |
