I have a worksheet that previously had links to other worksheets, when the worksheet was opened it would ask the quesiton "... contains links, do you want to update now ..." (or something similar). The worksheet no longer has links, the cells are now used for direct inputs or formulas all referencing the opened worksheet. Is there away to have it stop asking the question when the worksheet is opened, (since there are no links)???

Hi,
easiest way is to copy that sheet and paste it in new one. Choose "Paste special"-Values and than "Paste special"-Formats. This way you will remove links. Hope this will help. Sax |

You must still have links on the sheet. If you select Edit Links this will tell you the sheet you are linking to. You can then search for the first part of the filename e.g c:...
Have you got an hidden sheets containing a link? |
