I am importing a report from Access. Some of the information is in number format. I am pasting only certain cells from Access to excel. I then put in a formula in a blank cell like: =sum(f2-g2); I get the answer/value from that expression/formula but when I drag down to continue the same formula the formula/s are correct but the value is WRONG. i.e. - =sum(f3-g3),etc. but the value from the first cell f2-g2 say it is 5, 5 will be the value for all the other cells? HELP - Is there a formatting issue w/ numbers?????

Just a suggestion, have you tried exporting from access to an excel file (analyze with excel) then formating the workbook to suit you needs?
