Links, (Edit toolbar) is there any way to turn this feature off. I have a spreadsheet that when I save it it prompts me to save with links to unsaved workbook. When I reopen the saved file all macros are linked to the unsaved book. I don’t want these macros to operate or display a error message. Is there any code I can use to save without links to another workbook.

try
changing the source spreadsheet to the open spreadsheet (ie link it to itself) or try microsoft's solution: http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q188449 to answer your question, i don't think you can 'turn off' this feature - you'll just have to be careful what you paste from where to stop the links occurring in the first place. |

Well, you could disable it, but, I don't think that's the main issue here... try anno's suggestion. Or, Import the macros to the workbook that has links, that way, it won't need any links.
