i'm having a problem with custom formats for percentages.
if i have a formula such as =10/100, the result will be .10. as a percent, it will be 10%. how do i get a custom format so that i can get percentage points? basically, i want the result to be 10.0. or even more simply put, i want the answer as a %age, but without the percent sign. please advise. han |

by the way, i do NOT want to simply multiply the result by a 100 to get the answer; i want to fix it by using custom formats.
for example, here's a custom format that changes the number 1,234,567 to 1,234 without dividing by a 1000. #,##0,_);(#,##0,) thanks in advance. han |
