Hello all,
I'm trying vainly to create a MAXIF formula (without VBA). I have a list of product codes which could have many dates for each product code. I want to look at a product code on 1 sheet and find the latest date on the other sheet e.g. Product CallDate 336C1701WAR 1-May-01 336C1701WAR 2-May-01 336C1701WAR 4-May-01 336C1701WAR 8-May-01 336C1701WAR 9-May-01 336CA1700W38 26-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 27-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 27-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 30-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 30-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 31-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 31-Oct-00 336CA1700W38 1-Nov-00 336CA1700W38 1-Nov-00 336CA1700W38 2-Nov-00 If I have the product code 336CA1700W38 in a cell on another worksheet which formula do I need to return the latest date (in this case 2nd November 2000). I'm crap with array formulas so thanks to anyone who can help. Regards, Dan. |

Please ignore this post - the formula I was using was right it's just that some of the dates in my list were 0. I thought the formula wasn't working but it was just returning the earliest date it could find - in some cases 0.
Thanks anyway, Dan. |
