linking and splitting a cell's contents

I am trying to link a cell from one worksheet to another. But I want to take cell A1 from worksheet 1 and take the first half of the contents in A1 and put it in B2 worksheet2 then take the second half of the contents in A1 and put it in B3 in workshet 2.

For EX:

123/345 Cell A1 worksheet 1
123 Cell B2 worksheet 2
345 Cell B3 worksheet 3

How do I accomplish through through links?

In B2 in Sheet2 enter:

=LEFT(Sheet1!A1,SEARCH("/",Sheet1!A1)-1)

In B3 in Sheet2 enter:

=RIGHT(Sheet1!A1,LEN(Sheet1!A1)-SEARCH("/",Sheet1!A1))

Select B2:B3 and drag down if required.
