Question:
Some of my cells has very long text and they get cut off by the adjacent cell. So I am wondering, is there a way to get the text to extend to the adjacent cell? Thanks in advance |

You can merge the two cells or AutoFit your cell.

in the ceel you want the text in, right click the mouse. Click format ceels, there should be in there the option in the "alignment tab" of "shrink to fit".
this might work. |

Hi AllenL:
Is it important that the row height not increase ... if this is not a consideration then go for FORMAT|CELLS|ALIGNMENT|Wrap_text This will wrap the text in the same cell and will automatically increase the row height as required. You may also combine increasing the column width and the wrap feature to format your worksheet as necessary! HTH

Mark,
I was assuming that the adjacent cell was empty (probably a bad assumption.) |
