I have volume and price data which I want to create a line graph from. The price data will be on the x-axis, however it is not in linear steps, but I need the axis to be linear. How do I do this?

Welcome! In reference to your X-Y chart, I don't think your price data for x-axis has to be in equal steps. Go ahead highlite you data in both price and volume columns, click on Chart Wizard, select XY scatter chart ... choose one of the line-based options, and see if it works for you. HTH Please post back if it works for you ... otherwise explain a little further and let us take it from there!

That's great, it does work. I had been using the Line Graph chart type. Thanks
