I have a daily sales report for different product types in excel. I am using a pivot table to calculate the data. Twice since the first of the year after adding new sales and refreshing the pivot table, the "new" dates are not in chronological order. This messes up my formula for displaying the information in my report. I have to reassign which cells in the pivot table my report should be looking at.
Is there a better way to set up this report or another way to sort the pivot table? Thanks, Chuck |

Have you tried this?
Double click the date header in the pivot table and click the "Advanced..." button. Select the "Ascending" options on Autosort Options and choose the field you want to sort on. Marc |
