I don't know if this is possible but I want a box with data to pop up everything a certain cell is activated.
For example when the cell A3 is activated I want a box that pops up and says Choose Department Marketing or Accounting. More like a reminder of what their options are. I do not want to use a list or combo box, I want the user to type the information in. Thanks |

The easiest way is to use the Input Message feature of Data Validation. You can choose to allow any value if you wish and still record an input message which will display when the cell is selected
